The Environmental Change and Aquatic Biomonitoring (ECAB) Lab is based out of Mount Allison University. This dynamic research lab works to increase awareness about and understanding of the changes aquatic systems face by researching stressors such as toxins, microplastics and pollution. The lab wanted to improve it’s public education focus by creating a website where research could be shared. I was happy to help in this effort.
About the project
I created a simple, clean brand to capture the essence of the work being done by the ECAB Lab. This visual identity and related colour palette set the foundation for a Squarespace website that is user-friendly and uncluttered, enabling their target audience to find the information they need.
Over the years, I created a variety of visual designs for print and web for the ECAB Lab. This includes diagrams, conference and meeting handouts and booklets, posters, flyers, and more.
Every aspect of the ECAB website was crafted to ensure that potential clients felt informed and confident as they interacted with the website. A polished, professional online presence aligns well with the ECAB Lab being a respected source for important environmental research. Their website is essential for effectively communicating with the public about the work they are doing.
